Information: This mural commemorates the May Days celebration in Port Coquitlam, the only surviving celebration of its kind in British Columbia. It was painted for 75th May Day celebrations. It depicts the original site of the Agricultural Hall (Aggie Hall), which stood at this location until the early 1970s. The cars and costumes are typical of 1923, when the first Port Coquitlam May Days was celebrated.
This mural is dedicated to the citizens of Port Coquitlam by the PoCo BIA.
